It's waterproof as long as you close the cap tightly. The sleeve is a spiral shape and made of rubber. It has a slight texture compared to the smooth vibrator and you will certainly notice the spiral shape. A very important note we have to enforce is to put lubrication inside the sleeve and in the vibrator first because there will be a forceful vacuum suction and you won't be able to remove the sleeve after.
